On January 26, we all enjoyed a wonderful meal and talk with the noted blogger, author and celebrity priest Fr. Leo Patalinghug. There were alost 200 women present for his talk and the dinner. It was a great opportunity to meet some new people in the parish.
It looks like Charlotte Gioffre and Shirley Clement will be treating us to a home cooked meal from Fr. Leo's popular cookbook sometime soon and Cecilia Cortes-Peck will be serenading us. What date should we reserve on our calendars???
A number of door prizes were awarded. Among other things, Father Dan generously regifted some of the many black socks he received for Christmas to a lucky recipient. Tony Esser headed up the kitchen and served up a wonderful meal with the help of many other men in the parish.
And as they say, "A wonderful time was had by all."
